OK, not quite, but this is the closest thing that we have had to classic Metallica in years. Apparently, they imagined making a follow up to Master of The Puppets and came up with the album Death Magnetic. Watch the video for "The Day That Never Comes" below.

Official Bonnaroo 2008 Lineup Announced

So Coachella 2008 was a bit of a let down and for a moment so was Bonaroo 2008. Many people saw that Lez Zeppelin was performing and mistook it for another band with a similar sounding name and set list. Anyway once the truth registered people realized - all in all - it looks like a hell of a show. Metallica, Pearl Jam, Mastadon, Sigur Ros, Battles, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss (maybe the Led could show?!), and My Morning Jacket will accompany Lez from June 12-15 in Manchester, TN - among others.
