Burial, Four Tet + Thom Yorke...quite an amazing combo. Two great tunes, one great price. It's already sold out though. Anyway, crappy rips but they sound good. Sorry for the delay on this. New job has me about out of time.

New Radiohead Song For Peace - "Harry Patch (In Memory Of)"

Listen to this heartbreaking new Radiohead tune about Harry Patch, the last living English veteran in WWI, who inspired singer Thom Yorke when he was still alive as he discussed his thoughts on war. Apparently the lyrics are from a speech he gave.

Jack White and Thom Yorke Working on Songs Together

Due to us being away for a week of this month we may have missed this bit of news on Jack White and Thom Yorke via strangeglue.

White is currently undergoing some down-time following a tour incident
which saw him slip a disc within his neck area. After he's fully recuperated, he
will head into the studio with Radiohead's Thom Yorke to work on one of the
handful of tracks he already has prepared.

Radiohead - "Reckoner" Official Video (Myspace)

From Thom Yorke who is the singer for Radiohead:

hello my mind is not functioning at the correct speed at the moment thanks to
being in Tokyo but however and here is one of my favourite video things that has
ever happened for Reckoner it is, the result of somebody entering a competition
to make an animation to one of the tunes on IN RAINbows. on aniboom. you can
scroll down dead air space and find all about it.. but anyway
so we asked
them whether it was ok to make it the official one we use as it goes with the
song so well. they said yes.
and if you're like me and find it hard to find
videos on televsion any more, or even turn on the television you can watch right
here.
ok now im going to fold some clothes.

More Radiohead News

OK, OK, maybe your sick of all the Radiohead posts this month, but this post by Thom Yorke on Dead Air Space seemed well worth it.

we did not ask for a load of cash from our old record label EMI to re- sign. that is a L I E.
The Times in the UK should check its facts before it prints such dirt.
whAT we WANTED WAS some control over OUR WOrK and how it was used in the future by them-that seemed REASONAblE to us, as we cared about it a great deal.
Mr Hands was not interested.
So neither were we.
We made the sign of the cross and walked away. Sadly.
We are extremely upset that this crap is being spread about.
To bedigging up such bullshit, or more politely airing yer dirty laundry in public, seems a very strange way for the head of an international record label to be proceeding.
On a happier note we took no 'BRead-HEAd' advances at all from both independent labels XL and TBD for our new record.

So judge for yourself.

AND we are really excited to be working with them. SHock!

AT least they do not behave like confused bulls in a china shop.

much love

thom

I wasn't even aware of the article that he mentioned. But here it is.

Radiohead - Jigsaw Falling Into Place

Also if you haven't read the interview that David Byrne (of the Talking Heads - who's website you should check out for his great blog) did with Mr. Yorke for Wired Magazine take a look now. Byrne also chimes in with a very interesting article about the music industry. And check out the remix of "And It Rained All Night" from the Eraser by the very talented Burial.
