Gordon Voidwell at Bowery Ballroom on 6/18/11

Bear Hands was the headliner but I feel bad for any band that has to follow Gordon Voidwell. Show was amazing. Do yourself a favor go see him ASAP. Maybe even tomorrow with Marina & the Diamonds. This mix-tape doesn't do the show justice but you should check it. Can't wait for a full length.

Bear Hands and Gordon Voidwell at Bowery Ballroom This Saturday 6/18

This show I may hit on Saturday. Gordon Voidwell has been on my favorite list and because of this show I checked out Bear Hands and they are pretty good too.

Bear Hands - Golden EP

Bear Hands are a Brooklyn based quartet that formed about a year and a half ago. They have a pleasant sound. Melodic guitar driven indie rock with a hint of punk. Though I have been listening to the EP streaming at AOL, I think it has been taken down. Check out their myspace instead.
