Speaking of great records, Joan As Police Woman had a solid 2007 release called Real Life. She just announced that her follow up to that will be called To Survive and will be available June 9, 2008. You can hear the first single from the album, "To Be Loved" via her myspace.
Additionally, she will be playing the Living Rom here in NYC on March 25.
