Bjork 3D Video Screening

Everyone knows that we here at Musicology NYC are big Bjork fans. Check this:

On Wednesday, March 12th, Deitch Projects and Ghost Robot present an
exclusive screening of Björk’s video for “Wanderlust” in 3D. This gallery
show premiere includes a behind the scenes look including props from the shoot.
The elaborate video is for the fourth single off Björk’s Grammy nominated
Volta. Directed by Encyclopedia Pictura’s Isaiah Saxon and Sean
Hellfritsch, the concept is based entirely on hand drawn conceptual art. This
video was shot in 3D with a custom made stereoscopic camera rig using a mixture
of live action, puppets, scale models, and computer generated animation. It will
be shown using 3D projection and will require special glasses to be viewed.
The event will be held at Deitch Projects new Long Island City space,
located at 4-40 44th Drive. March 12th is a private event. The gallery
show is open for viewing by the general public on Thursday, March 13th.
The video will be included in the Wanderlust single available in the
in North America in April. The distinct package includes two 12”
Vinyl Recordings, CD, 3D music video DVD with glasses with remixes by Matthew
Herbert, Mark Stent and Ratatat.
