Holler Wild Rose are from Patterson, New Jersey. I have been listening to the songs on their myspace just about non-stop over the last couple days. After some careful research I have come to the conclusion that they sound like...well, everybody. Think of it like this, the Verve meets My Bloody Valentine, meets My Morning Jacket, meets Jeff Buckley meets...I could go on, but I won't. They are that rare occasion when so many influences are evident that the band sounds completely original. Do yourself a favor and listen. Ahh, those guitars.
